My name is Jason Smith.
I was born and raised in Frederick County Maryland. I have 2 sons,
Colan, age 16 and Michael, age 11.
When not working you will probably see me at the drag strips.
I have been powder coating since 2002.
I like doing the work and am very proud of the finished items.
I decided this is what I do best and I really enjoy talking with people,
so I discussed with my Mom and Stepfather (Cotton and Rudy) and they decided
to help me get started so I would have a powder coating business of my own.
They own Rudy's Welding Service and Cold Beer at 3217 Old National Pike in
Middletown, Md. and that is where my shop is at now.
My sign is not up yet, but Rudy's is a land mark and easy to find.

We have a large stock of colors and textures, with color charts and samples available for you to choose from. No job is too small. We just did a rifle trigger, cabinet handles and knobs. Most of our work consists of lawn and patio furniture, along with indoor and outdoor railings. We do a lot of car and motorcycle parts and wheels. We have completed several sets of bed frames and springs. Complete truck lift kits have been a popular item lately. We also do powder coating for commercial business'. It's unreal the difference powder coating makes in the overall quality of a product. If it can be coated, bring it to me and I'll do it. We have pick up and delivery available for an additional fee.
